This site ("Department of Boredom", "we", "us") is a small entertainment website. This policy explains what little data is involved when you visit, and how it's handled.
We do not require account creation and we do not collect names, email addresses, or other identifying information directly. The Boredom Log feature lets you type an optional display name and a short text entry; these are stored only in your own browser's local storage and are never transmitted to us or to any server we operate. Clearing your browser data removes them permanently.
This site itself does not set tracking cookies. However, if advertising is enabled on this site (for example through Google AdSense), our advertising partners and their vendors may use cookies, device identifiers, or similar technologies to serve ads and measure their performance. These partners may collect information such as your IP address, browser type, and browsing activity in order to personalize ads.
